Hydrocortisone Valerate
Hydrocortisone valerate is a medium-potency topical corticosteroid. It functions by suppressing inflammatory responses, reducing blood vessel dilation, and alleviating itching and swelling associated with various skin disorders.
Dosage by Body Weight
Apply a thin film of the cream or ointment to the affected areas 2 to 3 times daily, rubbing in gently. Avoid contact with eyes and do not cover with occlusive dressings (bandages, diapers, or plastic pants) unless specifically directed by a healthcare provider. Discontinue once the inflammatory condition is under control.
